The big day

Today I am getting my frame off.

I am nervous.

At the moment I am sitting in the waiting room. I am second on the list so I shouldn’t have to wait too long.

I am in Day Stay. That means that I should be going home tonight.

I am excited to get the frame off.

UPDATE: We just saw Mr Walsh and he wants one more xray to be sure the bone is strong enough to take the frame off. I will be disappointed if it can’t come off today.

  1. Sending love and hugs, Bizzy Izzy! It’s so exciting to be getting your frame off – you and your mum and dad have worked so hard to get to this day… see you later, with love from Ouma and Peter

  2. Wow Izzy, a big day indeed! We are all thinking of you – all 6 of us! Sending you thoughts of courage, strength, humour and most of all celebration for this particular milestone in your journey. So very proud of you for all your tenacity and determination to get this far. Georgie is standing over my shoulder as I type this, she is very excited for you. Can’t wait to read the next post … thinking of you β€οΈπŸ’•πŸ˜˜πŸ‘πŸ©πŸπŸŒˆπŸ˜πŸ‘
